Waiver Wire--Week 11
Zach Smith, QB-Baylor
Smith was only 6-of-15 after taking over for Seth Russell, who was lost for the season, in Baylor’s 45-24 loss at Oklahoma. However, if Russell was your starting quarterback, Smith may be the best option on the waiver wire heading into Week 12.
Daniel Jones, QB-Duke
After back-to-back games of 90 yards rushing and two rushing touchdowns, Jones has become a viable option for a Week 12 start at Pitt.
Ryan Graham, QB-Northern Illinois
Graham has taken over as the Huskies’ starting quarterback after Anthony Maddie was lost for the season due to a leg injury. Graham threw three TD passes and run for 97 yards in Northern Illinois’ 31-24 loss to Toledo this past week.
Shea Patterson, QB-Ole Miss
Patterson threw for 338 yards and two touchdowns while rallying the Rebels to a come-from-behind win at Texas A&M on Saturday.
David Montgomery, RB-Iowa State
Montgomery ran for 169 yards on 24 carries in the Cyclones’ 31-24 win at Kansas and could duplicate his rushing numbers in Week 12 when Iowa State hosts Texas Tech
Marcus Marshall, RB-Georgia Tech
Marshall, one of our Deep Sleepers after the suspension of Dedrick Mills, ran for 143 yards and a touchdown in Georgia Tech’s 30-20 win at Virginia Tech.
Devin Singletary, RB-Florida Atlantic
We may be one week too late, but the freshman running back has scored five touchdowns over the past two games for the Owls.
Isaiah Saunders, RB-Idaho
Saunders may not be the most sought after name on this list, but he has topped 80 yards and scored a TD in back-to-back games, so he should be considered as a FLEX option in deep full-FBS formats.
